Hey Rich, I would have gotten more square on to the image, so you was looking directly at, lower stance too so your eye level is with the word Grotto, this would have given you the opportunity to do a square crop of the image taking some of the background trees out.
I would have removed the bricks and covers from the pots but I would not have added plants in post editing, I would have warmed the image up a little to compliment the warmer tones you already have and darkened the edges and at the same time lightened the centre to draw the eye there.
